Ravencrest Coven Membership Requirements

Welcome, Seeker.
Before walking the path with Ravencrest, one must be ready in mind, spirit, and heart. Membership within our circle is both an honor and a responsibility. Below are the requirements to be considered for initiation into the Ravencrest Coven.

✦ 1. Age Requirement

  • Members must be 18 years of age or older.

✦ 2. Spiritual Alignment

  • Must have a sincere interest in witchcraft, paganism, or nature-based spirituality.
  • Open-mindedness and respect for diverse magical paths and traditions is essential.

✦ 3. Commitment to Growth

  • Willingness to learn, grow, and engage in both individual study and group ritual work.
  • Completion of the Seeker Period (a probationary phase, usually 3–6 months, depending on participation and engagement).

✦ 4. Code of Conduct

  • Must uphold the coven’s ethics and values, including:
    • Respect for all members.
    • Maintaining confidentiality of rituals and inner circle workings.
    • No tolerance for bigotry, hate, or harassment of any kind.

✦ 5. Attendance & Participation

  • Required attendance at monthly coven gatherings, Sabbats, and Esbats unless excused in advance.
  • Both in-person and online participation are supported. Members may choose their preferred method of involvement depending on availability and location.
  • Active participation in rituals, study groups, and community offerings is expected.

✦ 6. Dues & Financial Support

  • Seekers are not required to pay dues during their initial learning and probationary period.
  • Upon full initiation into the Coven (post-Seeker level), members are asked to contribute $15 per year to help support operational costs, materials, and community events.
  • Dues are symbolic and support the spirit of shared responsibility.

✦ 7. Online Academy Enrollment

  • Seekers and Members who wish to advance to higher levels within the Coven will be required to enroll in the Ravencrest Online Academy once it opens.
  • The academy will serve as the formal structure for in-depth magical education, spiritual development, and advancement through our Cord and Sash System.

✦ 8. Respect for the Circle

  • All members must treat the Circle, the Craft, and the spirits we call upon with honor and reverence.
  • Ego, drama, and harmful intent are not welcome in sacred space.

If your heart is called to walk between the worlds with us, the path awaits. 🌕
